What a phenomenal time we had today. Our 19 year old daughter (from NYC) is very into manga, and anime and very interested in Japanese culture. Aquiles taught us so much about Japanese history and society in such an interesting way. He also helped our daughter explore the area and shop for things she could never find it home, while also continuing to share more about the Otaku culture. All three of us had an amazing time. A really satisfying tour of the Akihabara area. Really informative background and an equally informative tour of different types of stores. I love the way Aquiles integrated the history with the architecture, train tracks, and river as we walked through the area. I also very much appreciated learning about the links with the past in art for the masses and electronics. Finally the tour was really fun and tailored to my interests and the interests I developed while learning about the area. Highly recommended tour!!!
